Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Mountain View Hospital, a leading provider of healthcare services.

About the Job
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of related technology, independent judgment, and complete knowledge of all Federal and Utah Regulatory Commission rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans.
  
• Assist physicians in the use of therapeutic radioisotopes under prescribed safety conditions and preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic purposes.
  
• Check assay of radionuclides received and calibrate doses to be given. Also check equipment calibration daily.
  
• Maintain adequate records of equipment calibration and repairs, radiation surveys of laboratory and personnel, radionuclide receipt and use, storage and disposal of radioactive material in accordance with Hospital, State and Federal regulations.
  
• Keep abreast of new procedures, equipment and methods, and participate in their evaluation and application.
  
• Participate in in-service training programs as required and instruct the demonstration of specific techniques and equipment.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
    
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
    
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
    
  • Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
