Position Title: Loader
Salt Lake City, UT
Monday through Friday / Second Shift hours 2-10:30 pm
JOB DUTIES AND INFORMATION:

STARTING WAGE: $19.00 an hour

90 DAY INCREASE: $.50
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $1.00

SIGN ON / RETENTION BONUS: $1,500 to be paid as follows: $500 after 90 days and $1000 after one year anniversary.
INCENTIVE PAY: Quarterly Bonus Program

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Truck Loader to join our Salt Lake Distribution team. The Truck Loader will be responsible for loading and unloading goods onto and from trucks in a safe and timely manner. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods onto and from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  
• Organize and stack items securely in the truck to optimize space and ensure safe transport.
  
• Follow company protocols and safety guidelines while operating equipment and handling products.
  
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the loading dock and surrounding spaces.
  
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Assist in inventory management and tracking of materials as needed.
  
• Perform routine maintenance checks on loading equipment and report any issues.

  QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required.
  Ability to perform very heavy work - routinely lifts 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
  Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities.
  Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  Must be able to work overtime as needed.
