Shift

• Fri - Sun every other Thursday 5:30pm-6am Day to Day Responsibilities
  
  In this role, you'll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will handle all related activities and projects in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Below are the key responsibilities essential for this position:
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance for facilities, equipment, and systems.
  • Maintain logs and records to support the operation and maintenance of critical systems, ensuring effective operation and cGMP compliance of all equipment and buildings.
  • Operate and maintain the central utilities plant, which includes high-pressure steam, water boilers, centrifugal chillers, pumping systems, large cooling towers, air handling units, air compressors, purified water systems, wastewater treatment systems, and other related support equipment.
  • Maintain the buildings and grounds, ensuring they remain in optimal condition.
  • Respond to service calls both during and after regular working hours, troubleshoot and complete in-house repairs throughout the facility, and coordinate outside contractor support as necessary. Provide backup support for manufacturing and other maintenance activities.
  • Work during scheduled plant shutdown days.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. Your Experience and Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • A minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance and/or construction experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, especially within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, medical device, or food processing industries.
    • Working knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and repair of plant utility systems, including building automation controls, is preferred.
    • Experience and proficiency in securing a Boiler Operator (High Pressure) certification and/or electrical licenses is preferred; already licensed candidates are strongly preferred.
    • Knowledge and experience with HVAC and plumbing systems are also preferred.
